On the occasion of 40 years founding Construction Material Institute (1969-2009), this morning October 30, 2009, at the Institute held a conference materials science: "Science and technology for industrialization, modernize the building materials industry in Vietnam. "
Attending the meeting were Deputy Director, Department of Science & MT-Tran Dinh Thai, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Kiem - former Minister of Construction, Dr. Tran Van Huynh - former Deputy Minister of Construction, Chairman of materials, along with representatives of the departments, the Institute, Department of Science and Technology, Association, Professor, PhD from the field and experts in the industry.
Science Conference held aim of the report first results of the research institute in the period 2005-2009, and discuss issues and make some tasks of scientific research in the period to serve the development of industry materials.
According to Mr. Tran Dinh Thai - Deputy Director of Science and Environment, this is the conference is very important, in addition to complete plans and strategies of Science and Technology 2001 - 2010 and construction of science and technology strategy in 2010 - 2020, must also towards issues related to environment, including development of green technology, minimize CO2 emissions, and restrict reuse of industrial waste, as formerly in difficult conditions and should have used the process and plans for replacement, in addition to well-oriented production of new materials, advanced materials and replace imported materials, to improve service quality of life and ensure stable development of economy and society.
