On March 19th, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh had a meeting and worked with Deputy General Director of the Nanning Government Service Center of China Chen Yang and the business delegation of Guangxi Province, China. At the meeting, on behalf of the business delegation of Guangxi province, China, Deputy General Director Chen Yang thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh and leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction for taking the time to receive and work with the delegation and said that when attending the first VIETBUILD Hanoi 2025 International Exhibition (taking place from March 19-23), the members of the delegation were very impressed with the Vietnamese construction materials market and realized the great potential in promoting investment, expanding partnerships and implementing projects in Vietnam.
Therefore, through the working program with the Ministry of Construction, the Guangxi Business Delegation wishes to gain more information about the construction materials market, the real estate market as well as the current relevant legal policy system of Vietnam, in order to develop a cooperative relationship between the two sides in the coming time.
Emphasizing the advantages of resources and experience in developing social housing in China, representatives of the Guangxi Business Delegation expressed their desire to expand cooperation and participate in social housing development projects in Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh highly appreciated the concern of enterprises from Guangxi Province, China in the market of construction materials, interior and exterior decoration, housing, real estate market as well as investment activities in the field of transportation in Vietnam.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh, Vietnam always wishes to expand cooperation and create favorable conditions for international enterprises in general, Chinese enterprises and Guangxi province in particular, to invest and cooperate in Vietnam in accordance with current Vietnamese laws, in order to contribute to the development of the market for construction materials, interior and exterior decoration and international integration.
In the housing sector, Vietnam is currently promoting the implementation of the Project to construct at least a million apartments of affordable social housing for low-income earners and workers in industrial parks in the 2021 – 2030 period, so with the rich experience, modern technology and practical attention, Chinese enterprises can learn to expand cooperation and participate in housing development projects in Vietnam, Sinh added.
In addition, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh also emphasized that Guangxi enterprises can use the programs and activities at the first VIETBUILD Hanoi 2025 Exhibition to have more connections, establish partnerships, cooperate, and invest in projects in areas of mutual interest, especially construction materials and interior and exterior decoration.
